Park Status

Update on opening.

We love the land we have been lucky enough to turn into a mountain bike park and we respect this breath-taking alpine environment. But we are also at the mercy of its powerful elements.

Water is life-giving and so important to the native flora and fauna that are such a big part of Bike Glendhu. The abundance of rain in this last month as the whole region experienced unprecedented flooding meant we have to bow to nature and give the land some time to bounce back to track polishing conditions. Our trail crew have been amazing negotiating the challenges and rolling out the finishing touches with break neck speed.

Despite their super efforts, the trails remain too wet to ride without ruining all their hard work, so we have made the difficult decision to delay our targeted “week before Christmas” opening until mid-January.

As soon as we have a confirmed opening date we will open the sales for day and multi-day passes, rentals and coaching.

The support form our local and biking communities has been massive, and we are ensuring that when you first roll into the park it is everything we have promised including world-class trails, safety and service.
