Women’s Ride Camp

Join world-class coaches Bri Lobb of BlackFox Ride and Robin Pieper of Southern MTB Coaching for the Rocky Mountain Women’s Ride Camp, a weekend of progression at Bike Glendhu from February 10-11, 2024.

At Bike Glendhu, we’re proud to be a place for progression, especially when it comes to women’s mountain biking. Once again, we’re stoked to play host to the Rocky Mountain Women’s Ride Camp on February 10-11, 2024. Whether you want to level-up your flow skills, improve tech riding or both – the choice is yours!

Sorry guys, but this women’s ride camp is for the ladies only. Participants should already be comfortable riding Grade 2 trails and looking to gain more confidence on Grade 3 and 4+ tracks.

Weekend Schedule

9:00am: Sign-in/registration at Base 334 at Bike Glendhu

9:15am: Welcome and briefing, cinlduing safety brief and bike check

9:30am-12:30pm: Progression Session #1 – flow instruction on Matt & Gary, Jairolla and Lower Baywatch, covering body position, cornering and pumping

12:30-1:15pm: Lunch break (BYO or buy from Velo Cafe at Base 334)

1:15-4:15pm: Progression Session #2 – jump instruction on Hare-Time and Curly Sweep, breakdown of jumping technique

4:15-5pm: Apres at Velo Cafe, including spot prizes from brand partners and wrap-up.

9am: Sign-in/registration at Base 334 at Bike Glendhu + welcome from coaches

9:15am: Welcome and briefing, cinlduing safety brief and bike check

9:30am-12:30pm: Progression Session #1 – tech instruction on Vol. 2 covering line choice, features and terrain awareness

12:30-1:15pm: Lunch break (BYO or buy from Velo Cafe at Base 334)

1:15-4:15pm: Progression Session #2 – steeps instruction on Rocky Borrow Show, Methane Train or Dark Matter (based on ability grouping), covering body position and brake control on steeps and rock slabs

4:15-5pm: Apres at Velo Cafe, including spot prizes from brand partners and wrap-up.

What’s included?

The Rocky Mountain Women’s Ride Camp features 1- or 2-days of world-class coaching with certified MTB coaches Bri Lobb of BlackFox Ride and Robin Pieper of Southern MTB Coaching. There are options below to include a trail pass in the camp cost.

Camp participants may BYO their lunch or can purchase at Velo Cafe at 15% off  for the weekend.

If you require a rental bike, please book separately on our Rentals page. We have some beautiful, brand spankin’ new Trek MTBs just waiting to be ridden!

If you already have a Bike Glendhu trail pass, please select the “W/O Trail Pass” product below.

All camp participants will receive a welcome pack and are eligible for spot prizes from camp sponsors.

What should I bring?

For the Ride Camp, you’ll want to bring your helmet, any protective gear your prefer and a daypack with snacks, a spare tube, a jacket and water.

If you have your own bike, bring that along. Or, if you need to rent, visit our Rentals page to book your bike in for the camp dates. You can BYO lunch or purchase from Velo at 15% off as a camp participant.
