Midpoint Jump Jam
The Midpoint Jump Jam is BACK for 2024!
Last year, we resurrected the two pro jump lines used for Brandon Semenuk’s Midpoint film and held our first ever Midpoint Jump Jam. This year, it’s back – and bigger than ever.
DATE: Sunday, March 3rd, 2024
LOCATION: Bike Glendhu in Glendhu Bay, Wanaka
SCHEDULE: Volunteer Dig Day to take place on Friday, March 1 from 5-8pm. Jump Jam to take place on Sunday, March 3 from 1-5pm with awards, apres and DJ to follow at Velo from 5:30pm-7pm.
Bike Glendhu will be open to the public on event day, trail closures will be in place throughout the day. Spectators are welcome to come via bike (with a valid trail pass), there will also be shuttle pedestrian access.
We strongly advise that riders participating the Jump Jam should have the ability to clear pro-level jumps, the likes of Dream Track, for example.
Riders under 16 will need to nominate a “sponsor” as part of their registration – that is, a parent or guardian who can vouch for their ability to ride to this level.
The jumps have held up well over the past year but we’ll need a hand to get them Jump Jam ready. For anyone that attends the Dig Day you will get free entry to the park on Jump Jam day.
The Dig Day will take place from 5-8pm Friday, March 1. Register your interest in Dig Day at the entry form above.
We will do our best to run the Jump Jam rain or shine, however safety will always be our first priority. In the unlikely event of having to cancel the Jam, we will announce the cancellation and new date on our social media channels.
2022 MIDPOINT JUMP JAM

We’re very proud to run this event in a grassroots-style. And though we don’t have any official event sponsors, we are very thankful to a couple of our brand partners for coming out and helping us to put on a good show, whether that’s by getting their athletes involved or by handing out a few cold ones to the crowd.
