Bike Glendhu is stoked to host the final leg of the Crankworx summer series! We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the weather gods bless us with some sunshine but we’ll be charging ahead, no matter the weather!
The Dual Slalom event is FREE for spectators. The event will take place at Jack’s Spot with three options for spectators to get up the hill.
Option 1: Take your bike!
Buy a normal trail pass and bike up to Jack’s Spot. The park will be open for riders so you can fit in a few laps while you spectate. You can buy a pass here.
Option 2: Take a pedestrian shuttle.
We will be running shuttles from Gate 1 which is located down the Motatapu Rd approx 500m past Bike Glendhu (Follow the signs) up to Jack’s Spot for those who do not want to walk or bike up to Jack’s. Shuttles can be booked here.
Shuttles will run Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 3 pm. Bookings are essential. Bikes are not allowed on shuttles. Shuttles cost $5 per seat and all proceeds go to our Tree Planting Initiative.
Option 3: Walk the 4WD track
Free entry to walk up to the Dual Slalom. Walking access is via Gate 1 which is located down the Motatapu Rd approx 500m past Bike Glendhu (Follow the signs). Parking is available at this gate. Entry from 9am-4pm Saturday & Sunday. The walk is 1.7km and takes 30mins. Note that this is uphill via a 4WD track. Marshalls will be checking Vaccination Passports and help point you in the right direction.
