Covid-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights)

Bike Glendhu Limited, having considered the COVID-19 Protection Framework, the risks and benefits to the health of our guests, communities and team we believe this framework is currently the best tool to help prevent the spread of the highly contagious Covid-19 virus and alleviate any unnecessary pressure on the health system. Bike Glendhu has resolved that it will implement a vaccine certificate requirement effective from the 3rd of December 2021, in line with the mandated requirements.

In light of government-mandated health measures, Bike Glendhu Limited may require guests to comply with any number of measures including but not limited to the wearing of face masks/coverings, NZ COVID Tracer app sign-in, capacity management/restrictions and any other measures required to limit the spread of COVID-19 or any other communicable illness.

While we are all experiencing unprecedented times and the traffic light frameworhas been implemented currently as thbest defence to protect our community and our team from Covid 19. Bike Glendhu will continue to monitor the situation in order to continue to challenge, lead and innovate so that we can adapt and change to ensure we are able to let as many people as possible enjoy the Bike Glendhu experience at all times.

Covid – 19 Vaccination Refund Policy

Further, in light of the Protection Framework outlined, Bike Glendhu has also resolved to implement a refund policy for non-vaccinated 2021/2022 season passholders purchased prior to December 3rd 2021.

The policy’s key terms & conditions are:

  1. Provision of an acceptable proof of non-vaccinated status (as determined by BGL at its sole discretion) such as your Ministry of Health My Covid Record or other valid proof, in order to qualify for the refund. To access your covid record, click here: My Covid Record.
  2. And that for each use prior to the refund being applied for, each use shall be valued at:
    1. $35, which will be deducted from the full adult season pass price of $399 (or its equivalent if acquired under any agreed discounted pass arrangement, with the same level of discount applied to the use value stated)
    2. $30, which will be deducted from the full student/senior season pass price of $320 (or its equivalent if acquired under any agreed discounted pass arrangement with the same level of discount applied to the use value stated)
    3. $25, and which will be deducted from the full youth season pass price of $240 (or its equivalent if acquired under any agreed discounted pass arrangement with the same level of discount applied to the use value stated)
    4. $20, which will be deducted from the full child season pass price of $159 (or its equivalent if acquired under any agreed discounted pass arrangement with the same level of discount applied to the use value stated)
    5. $15, which will be deducted (for each family member that used the pass) from the full family season pass price of $999 (or its equivalent if acquired under any agreed discounted pass arrangement with the same level of discount applied to the use value stated)
  3. So as to arrive at the net sum to be refunded. All prices stated above include GST.
  4. All refunds must be applied for before 31st January 2022. To request a refund, please complete this form. 

 

2021/2022 Season Pass Holder – Verification

From December 3, 2021 all season pass holders at Bike Glendhu require their vaccine pass to be verified to access the facilities. All current season pass holders (over the age of 12yrs 3months) will need to verify their Vaccine Status no later than 31st December 2021. This can be done at the Bike Glendhu ticketing office. Once verified your status will be recorded against your profile.

To make riding at Bike Glendhu as smooth as possible for everyone all seasons pass holders will need to pop into ticketing the first time they come to ride under this new framework to show their vaccine pass and reactivate their wristband. Passes will not work at the gate until this process is complete.

How can I verify my Covid -19 pass?

Why do I need a vaccine pass to ride in the park? 

Bike Glendhu Limited, having considered the COVID-19 Protection Framework, the risks and benefits to the health of our guests, communities and team we believe this framework is currently the best tool to help prevent the spread of the highly contagious Covid-19 virus and alleviate any unnecessary pressure on the health system. Bike Glendhu must comply with Health and Safety Act 2015 and show reasonable and practicable steps with Worksafe NZ to ensure the safety of our team and our guests. 

 

How do I go about getting a medical certificate proving I’m not vaccinated? 

Sign up to the Ministry of Health website to receive your latest My Covid Record which will verify your vaccine status or a valid medical certificate can be obtained from your doctor.

Why do I have to prove I’m not vaccinated? 

This is consistent with our full refund policy to provide evidence to Bike Glendhu that you do not qualify and meet the Covid 19 – Protection Framework we have adopted. 

 

Where do I verify my Vaccine Pass in the park?

Bike Glendhu has one point of entry for the entire park. Please can we ask so kindly that all our guests visit our ticketing office to get their vaccine passports sighted. From there you are able to enjoy the full experience of Bike Glendhu.
