Come and work with us!
We’re always on the look out for excellent humans to join our team,
so if you fit that description give us a holler!
Either email us at email@example.com or pop in and say hello – there are
no shortage of people looking for an excuse to sit down for a cuppa and a yarn.
Bike Glendhu is opening at the stunning Glendhu Bay, Wanaka this summer and we have a fleet of rentals that will need some TLC after spending their days out on our awesome trails. You’ll be a fan of people as well as bikes as you’ll be responsible for matching each rider with a suitable steed, and making sure they know the brakes from the gears.
You’ll know what’s what when it comes to bikes and have the experience to keep the rental fleet in pristine condition. You must be able to work solo and be able to undertake all levels of repairs including building of bikes, bleed brakes, service forks and shocks, replace bearings, bearings overhaul, replace drive trains, tune gears, replace cabling, and true wheels… you get it.
We’ll be a small, tight-knit team so you’ll have the opportunity to make this role your own as we establish our brand in the community. You’ll care about sustainability and the environment and work alongside the team to grow and improve in this space.
The successful applicant will also have a position on Bike Glendhu’s first responder team and will be put through a Pre Hospital Emergency Care (PHEC) course. You must be able to work week days, weekends and holidays, be legally entitled to work in NZ and hold a full, clean drivers licence.
This role is a fixed term position with lots of opportunity for it to grow into a permanent role with great reward. Start date 2 December.
